Welcome to the Rotary Club of Guilford Web Site The Rotary emblem identifies Rotarians around the world. The gearwheel signifies that the Rotarian is a “worker” when it comes to serving others. Guilford College’s New Garden Hall is located in Greensboro, Guilford County, NC. Guilford College draws on Quaker and liberal arts traditions to prepare men and women for a lifetime of learning, work, and constructive action dedicated to the betterment of the world. The Nathanael Greene Memorial at Guilford Courthouse National Military Park Battleground honors the American Revolutionary Quaker General and his troops who fought a pivotal battle with Lord Cornwallis and his troops on March 15, 1781. Although Cornwallis won the battle, his troops were so debilitated that he eventually surrendered to General Washington in Yorktown on October 19, 1781.
